Manchester City have welcomed Rodri, Manuel Akanji and Nathan Ake into training. But many others still haven’t returned.

Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola is preparing his squad for Thursday’s Carabao Cup fourth-round clash with Liverpool. Three players from the World Cup ufabet, Rodri, Akanji, Ake, have returned to training with the team. Rodri and Akanji were eliminate in the last 16 with Spain and Switzerland respectively, returning to report with Nathan Ake. Who are eliminate in the last 8 with the Netherlands.

Pep will be able to use Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundoan as the two main players in midfield. Due to returning to practice with the team for a while after Belgium and Germany fell from the group stage.

It is unclear whether the returning trio will play any role in Thursday’s clash. But every day they have in training will be seen as a plus to Guardiola ahead of a busy festive period.  

England players Kyle Walker, John Stones, Kalvin Phillips, Phil Foden and Jack Grealish are still absent, with Ederson, Laporte, Ruben Dias, Joao Cancelo, Bernardo Silva, and champion Julian Alvarez also yet to report back.
